| In May 2009, House Bill 121 enabled municipalities with areas that fail to meet federal or state air quality standards for P.M. 2.5 to pass an ordinance to provide for an air quality tax credit. Each municipality will establish eligibility guidelines; conditions and other criteria for a tax credit by passing ordinances that are based on local public input and specific community conditions. |  |
