The Pellet Stove Design Challenge is currently accepting topic ideas, speaker suggestions and poster proposals for the 2016 workshop and design challenge. Submit your suggestions by Friday, January 22, 2016. Panels and speakers are being accepted on a rolling basis and we encourage you to send ideas and suggestions as soon as possible.

Panel ideas to date include: stove design, testing protocols, testing repeatability, efficiency calculations, pellet fuel combustion, pellet stove regulations, incentive and change-out programs, service and repair and presentations by finalist teams in the competition.

This year's theme is about improving efficiency and emission performance in pellet stoves and other innovative features that will help drive the market for advanced pellet stoves. Describe how your suggested topic relates to improved performance and market development. New speakers or topics may be integrated into existing panels.

Email session topics and speaker suggestions to Gabriella McConnel (Gabriella@forgreenheat.org). If you are submitting a panel or poster topic idea, provide a brief description in the body of the email. Similarly, if you are making a speaker suggestion for yourself or someone else please include a short bio and contact information.

Poster topics can include stove technology, financing or regulatory issues, change out programs, combustion research, indoor or outdoor air quality issues, etc. Individuals, organizations, universities, or companies can sponsor posters. However, posters should not be commercial or advertorials. Each team competing in the Design Challenge will have a poster in the poster session.

We have already begun building program panels and will continue based on the topic and speaker suggestions received. We greatly appreciate your help providing ideas to assist us in developing an outstanding program. Please note that not every topic and speaker suggestion will be used.

We look forward to receiving your ideas and suggestions. Visit the Pellet Stove Design Challenge web page for more information.
