In-Kind Sponsorship

The Next Generation Wood Stove Design Challenge is seeking corporate in-kind sponsors to donate a few key items that are needed at the competition. The Challenge is a high-profile renewable energy competition that will culminate in a Wood Stove Decathlon to be held on the National Mall in Washington, DC in November 2013. These needed items include, but are not limited to: stove accessories, trained stove installers, and a Wi-Fi system to use on the National Mall.

Sponsoring the Challenge is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your company's or organization's commitment to cleaner burning and higher efficiency wood stove technology. Click here to download a PowerPoint with more information on the Challenge. Contact Trevor Gionet at trevor@forgreenheat.org or (301) 841-7755 to request more information on sponsorship opportunities.

Industrial Chimney Company was established in 1991 by a small group of partners with over 75 years combined experience in the chimney industry. We focus our efforts in four areas. We manufacture residential venting, specifically insulated chimneys, double walled stovepipe, and chimney liner for wood burning applications as well as venting products for pellet and gas appliances. We believe that our long-term accomplishments are tied to our commitment to people, both inside and outside our company.

We began in 1976 as a father and son operation in the family garage. Our first factory was a converted chicken coop. After 9 expansions and 2 moves, we're now happily settled into our 34,000 square ft. main facility at the foot of Mount Hood in Sandy, Oregon. Still a family-owned business, we have a dedicated team of perfectionist craftsmen and caring sales staff. Always striving to improve our products, we have won 3 Vesta Awards for innovation in design and technology in the hearth industry.
